Not all of my work is weddings. And not all of it is people. This week I’ve been doing a lot of commercial work and also shooting comp cards for a modelling agency. All a lot of fun, but I don’t think you want to see empty industrial buildings and most of the pictures are embargoed anyway due to commercial sensitivity.
So instead….here’s another one of my holiday pictures from Peru.
Every day, just as the sun hit a certain position, butterflies would come down to the patch of sand where we moored the boats. They were there to lick salt deposits and lay eggs. So it was a very simple matter to get very close to them with a macro lens while they were otherwise occupied. I spent a happy couple of hours playing with off camera flash. Until I realised how much sand I had in my lens…
