I had an email from Claire who had seen some of my crazy Trash the Dress work. She wanted a bridal shoot with her husband Jonathan but really didn’t want to ruin her dress. No problem, I can do that. Dresses very rarely get ruined when I do a Rock the Frock and it’s always your choice how far you want to push it.
We got talking a little more and it turns out that at their wedding (photographed by a photographer in the Midlands) there wasn’t a really strong image of the two of them that they wanted to hang on the wall. It’s a comment I sometimes here from couples who have chosen a photographer that relies too much on reportage and capturing moments. It’s great most of the time but sometimes you need something a little more scripted. They also wanted some pictures with Toby, their dog.
No problem. I asked Emily Rose to do Claire’s hair and makeup, they put their wedding clothes back on and we headed out to a private bluebell wood with my location flash system and Toby the dog.
And I’m delighted to say that this time they weren’t disappointed at all…
