You know what? I’m quite getting to like this “wedding photography without showing the wedding” style of blog posting. In the past couple of weeks I’ve had a number of weddings where for privacy or security reasons my clients have asked me not to post pictures of them to my website. And of course that’s no problem. But there are always loads of “behind the scenes” pictures to tease you with.
After all – what’s the excitement of a sneak peek if it’s not sneaky? (Don’t worry – I do of course have my clients’ permission to publish these pictures!)
So this weekend I was at the ultra stylish West End address 30 Pavilion Road. As you might expect from a beautiful Georgian townhouse in the heart of Knightsbridge it has a beautiful entrance. But not half as beautiful as it was after a few hours of the “Toni Treatment” from WeddingsByIsis.
Handy that staircase. It got used for a VERY glamorous entrance later on…
One thing I can reveal is what “the dress” looked like.
And that’s already a pretty big clue to the song for first dance.
So…great venue? Check. Amazing dress? Check. Beautiful rings?
Check. Must be time for a wedding….
And of course after any great wedding you’ll want a cold glass of champagne…
….to go before the beautiful food…
(of course the guests had a choice of meat or vegetarian. That’s the vegetarian option because….it’s mine! Tough life being a wedding photographer….)
….and maybe a slice of cake…
Seriously. The word “cake” doesn’t begin to do justice to this amazing creation by Peggy Porschen. Stunning understated elegance and just beautiful work.
But just beyond the cake, you can see a glimpse of the fabulous dining room with roses everywhere.
You can’t really do it justice in a single picture – so check out the 360 degree panorama at the end of this post.
And then, of course, it was time for the first dance. Did you guess what it was? Yep, “lady in red” with a cameo appearance by Toni Davey who was responsible for the event planning and flowers. You can see her in the shadows…
Now bear with me a second or two. This takes a moment to load and depending on your browser may not work but if you see an image of the dining room below then click and drag with your mouse to see every last detail of the Wedding Breakfast at 30 Pavilion Road in a 360 degree panorama.
