Some people ask me “what’s it like at one of your photoshoots?”. And I start using words like “cool” and “awesome” and waving my arms. And then I thought…why don’t I just show you?
So here’s a real video of a real shoot with a real bride doing a real trash the dress. For real. There are pictures at the end too. There are also pictures below.
I’d LOVE to hear what you think of it. Videos like this take a lot of work but I rather enjoy them. So shout out in the comments below if you want to see more and what kind. And if you want to organise your own shoot (trash the dress or something a little calmer) then just get in touch.
For the tech head photographers out there: Hasselblad H3D-II 31 + 80mm and 150mm lenses. Light from 2 X Elinchrom FX400s in the “dry” area, 1 X Bron Mobil 1,200 w/s head in the wet. And yes, both Broncolor and Hasselblad say not to do this in the rain.
For everyone else: yes she really did jump out of that tree. And the dress amazingly was fine.
Here are some pictures from the day.
Don’t forget to tell me if you want more of these.
