There are a lot of pictures here – you may want to pour yourself a favourite beverage before continuing.
So, the dress.
Yeah that’s quite a dress. A gorgeous Pronovias creation brought all the way from Australia where Bianca and David live. It looks even better in close up.
But we’re getting ahead of ourselves. Plus I want to save the pictures of shoes for later. How about makeup?
And of course the guys from Walton Baker were on hand for Bianca’s hair too.
Now I’m reasonably good with names. I like to get a list of key people and know their jobs. But it always helps when people are, erm, labelled.
Like Junior Bridesmaid Amelia
And Paula the maid of honour could always find her bag.
And for the rest of us, it was pretty easy to know her role. If we knew where to look.
Anyway, there’s a wedding about to happen – no hanging about!
I love this view as Bianca just “emerges” from her dress…..
….right before the “WOW” moment.
Now the duties of a junior bridesmaids are many and varied. But at least one of them is helping out in pictures of groomsmen.
(Actually that’s Liam who was escorting his mother into the church to give her away.)
OK, it’s shoe time.
Paula’s shoes from Stuart Weitzman (though I hear Bianca loved them so much that she had to have a pair too).
And Bianca’s from Alan Pinkus.
And then we were off to the wedding.
Oh go on. One more shoe picture….
So….of to the wedding.
And I know just how proud Bianca and David were of Amelia and Liam for their readings.
Actually you can see it.
The church of St Edmund King and Martyr had been around for about a thousand years one way or another. And they built it somewhat before photography. So it’s tiny and the only place for me is in the gallery. But a steady hand a nd a long lens and you can see all the details on the ring as Bianca and David got married.
And all to soon it was time to walk out of the church as husband and wife.
And then confetti at the lych gate.
Now it’s a little known fact, but the perfect day to see lavender in Kent is the 2nd of July. And that’s the exact day of the wedding. So by very kind permission of Castle Farm we had the fields all to ourselves for a few brief moments.
From the beautiful cake from The Yummy Cake Company….
…to the wishing tree….
…to the gorgeous stationery by Millie and Me
And to complete the colour theme, how could I forget the beautiful flowers from Euphoric?
And then, you know, just your regular wedding reception….
….late portraits of the ladies….
…and a couple of surprises. David sang Bianca a beautiful song…
…and Bianca arranged for a fabulous firework display from Phoenix…
And then at the end of a long, L-O-N-G day, one of my favourite pictures. You know that time when no matter how fabulous your shoes you just need to take them off and dance? Mmm-hmm.
