On of the things I love about my job is the chance to push the boundaries. Or just play with cameras however you prefer to view it
I live about a mile from the cathedral in Canterbury which makes it an ideal place to try things out. It’s as dark as most churches and with the thousands of tourists who visit it I have to plan carefully to get the shots I want without people in the frame.
Here’s my latest little project from the cathedral. It’s the view from near the Thomas Beckett memorial looking down the cathedral. The martyrs’ chapel was behind me when I took it. And if your browser has Quicktime installed (most do) then you should be able to look all round the cathedral in this one picture.
To move around it just click and drag with your mouse to look left and right. Don’t forget to look up and down too!
This is a type of photography often requested by my commercial clients. In fact if you work for an estate agents, property developer, events venue or anything similar then why not get in touch to find out how immersive panaoramas can help your business?
