Loads of pictures from Emma and Rhett’s wedding at Lympne Castle in Kent are now online to view. Real people, real weddings, real photography ![]()
Ordinarily I’d show a few teasers a couple of days after the wedding and then the whole thing a couple of weeks later. But “ordinary” went out of the window with this one. Bride and groom (and entourage) flew in from Australia a few days before the wedding. Emma had always wanted to get married in England and where better than All Souls in Cheriton (where her parents had been married!) and then on to a proper Kentish Castle.
So times tables were tight. They got tighter. I asked if they were going on honeymoon, hoping to have a couple of weeks to prepare the pictures for them. “Yes, we’re going to Paris. For a couple of days. Then flying home on Wednesday.”
So……a huge wedding on the Saturday, sleep Sunday and prep the files for Wednesday. Easy. Except that I had 2 client meetings, a children’s photoshoot and an all day seminar in between. No problem. Who needs sleep?
Loads of pictures below…with plenty more to follow.
It was a fabulous day and I enjoyed myself very much. So it was especially touching to receive the following comments from Barry (father of the bride who had booked everything by email!).
Thank you for your excellent services provided on Emma and Rhetts wedding day. I particularly like the way that with minimal time spent prior to the wedding (and so close to it due to our distance from England), that you captured every shot we wanted and I know a lot more besides.
You were perceived by myself and most of our guests to be more like guests than service providers which, I am sure, enabled you to achieve better results on the day. Your special ability to present as a witty, charming and highly professional person should make you the photographer of choice for this type of occasion. The images which we have seen to date are outstanding and we look forward eagerly to see the rest of the shots taken. I am sure these will be excellent.
My sincere thanks to you and John for helping us make our Daughters day perfect.
Emma and Rhett are back in Oz now but they have the internet there
