About 10 days ago, I did a pre wedding shoot for Emma and Will. And what comes after the pre-wedding? Yep another fabulous WeddingsByRyan wedding at St Marys Church Minster and Quex Park.
Here’s Emma all ready for her wedding.

Well, when I say “ready” of course I mean “wearing curlers and eating a chocolate brownie” but there was plenty of time to go.
Still, I guess she was more ready than her father Alan whose suit was somewhere on a fence near Dover and had to wear his wife’s hat…

(Honestly – why would I need to make stuff like this up?)
Anyway, back to more mainstream wedding photography….Emma, a fantastic dress and Linda lacing it up for her. Looks like we’re going to have a wedding very very soon…

Meanwhile Will, the groom was indulging in traditional pre wedding activity too.

And then it was time. Everybody was inside the church when Emma and her father Alan along with bridesmaids Emma, Laura and Abbey appeared.

Before the crusades and shortly after the Norman Conquest parts of St Mary the Virgin were standing in Minster. The church has been pretty much unchanged for 900 years. The original building dates back to the 7th century. There is a wonderful feeling inside of peace, tranquility and centuries upon centuries of time standing still. Will could wait just a few minutes more…

Worth it though….

And then in the beautiful “cathedral on the marshes” Emma and Will were married. And then they were off outside to where their carriage literally awaited to whisk them off to Quex Park.

It was hot. Very very hot. So it’s no surprise that page boys Alex and Jamie had taken their jackets off. But they happily sat in the shade while I took their pictures.

In fact all of the guys wanted their pictures taken in the cool. Groom Will with best man Sam and twin ushers Chris and Dave. (Chris on the left since you ask.)

While the girls got on with much more important business like checking out the ring…

…and jumping for flowers…

And then despite the long summer’s evening, it was time for the first dance. There’s no mistaking the look of absolute joy on the latest Spice Girl’s face. Or the adoring look from her (very) new husband.

Emma and Will can see this page from their honeymoon so please leave your comments and wishes for them below.
See? I managed to get all the way through the post without showing an embarrassing picture of bridesmaid Emma.
