So you want a wedding at home?  You have a garden but were wondering if a marquee would look OK in it?  You’re not sure if they really look that great anyway?  Well relax.  Elizabeth Gall from Simply Elegant recently asked me to phoograph the entire transformation from start to finish.  I shot nearly 10,000 still images and a little video then got busy with iMovie – oh wait, you’re not interested in all that techie stuff?  You just want to see results?  No problem…

Couple of videos for you.  They have music so if you’re supposed to be working you may want to hit the “mute” button before pressing play!

First, let’s build the marquee…plain grass to canvas took a single day.

Nice!  But it’s looking a bit plain.  How about we dress it with some tables, an all white floral palette and a “few” candles.  OK, over 1,000 candles…

But that’s nothing compared to he whole 360 degree panorama – and you haven’t even seen the jazz bar yet! These use some pretty fancy technology and so don’t work on all computers but if your browser shows a couple of images below then drag your mouse around to look all round the marquee and have a good old look around. Don’t forget to look up and down! Especially in the jazz lounge.

So don’t worry.  If you want a stunning wedding at home then just give Elizabeth a call at Simply Elegant.
