Katherine and Ben at Cooling Catle Barn

Another glorious day in Kent. Another gorgeous bride and handsome groom. Another wonderful venue this time Cooling Castle Barn).

Could this job get any more fun?

Actually if I wanted to be picky then I could have done with a little less sun on the day. But it’s still fun watching the guys run up and down knowing that they are fairly warm in their 3 piece suits .

And Brett may have been a little late joining the rest of the guys (yeah EIGHT groomsmen!) but he made up for it in enthusiasm. I think he was slightly delayed putting the finishing touches to his new hairstyle…

But how’s this for a welcome for Katherine’s arrival at Cooling Castle Barn?

and travels in this kind of style….

The main wedding barn at Cooling Castle is just beautiful. A traditional Kentish Barn all decked out with hops and candles that look like they have been there, well, forever. There’s also a lovely little are for the bride and groom to sit during the wedding so that all their friends and family can get a great view.

Of course that’s not the only barn at Cooling Castle Barn.

And of course the dancing barn…

(OK, that’s really the eating barn again but they made it look different for first dance).

Of course even a great venue like this doesn’t have everything you need. We had to go nearly a mile away to get a wonderful view over the countryside. But that’s no problem when you have an old funky Rolls.

And we had to walk all the way over the road to find a gate for Katherine and Ben to sit on with Katherine’s sisters and brother Marcus.

And if you thought Sophie was excited to see Katherine, well when a girl’s got a pretty party dress, a rabbit and a robot car what more could she want?
