Perfect weather? Check. Stunning venue? Check. Amazing dress? Check. Looks like it’s going to be another fabulous wedding story….
Here’s Leigh-Ann about to get ready for her wedding to James. She has an amazing dress all set. And just in case you forget who’s who, she has her job title and the date on her back.
Of course she doesn’t just have a dress. She has all the beautiful stuff that she has been collecting together and planning for the last two years. Yes, Leigh-Ann has been looking forward to this one.
Downstairs, things are getting busy with hair and makeup.
And even the page boys Frankie and George are ready and on their best behaviour.
All time for that moment when everybody watching goes “wow”.
Meanwhile, over at the church….
….friends and family were waiting expectantly.
They didn’t have long to wait for Leigh-Ann and her father to arrive in a beautiful Brenchley Laundalette.
On a wedding day, it’s always down to the discretion of the vicar whether I’m allowed to take pictures during the ceremony or not. I’m delighted to say that most vicars are happy to give me permission one they understand that I won’t be disrupting the ceremony. I was especially delighted this week. After all, you can’t set up a shot like this later when Leigh-Ann and James see each other for the first time.
And after that they could hardly take their eyes off each other.
And then, after readings from their friends and family…
Leigh-Ann and James were married.
I mentioned it was a beautiful day. But that didn’t stop it being a little blustery. Which is fine. Unless you’re wearing a 5 foot long cathedral veil.
And then we were off to Turkey Mill for the reception. And of course a few pictures.
And while the room was prepared for dancing, the guys retired to the famous bridge with their cigars.
