New website…..

If you’re a regular visitor to MyWeddingStory then you’ll notice things have changed a little. Ok they have changed a lot weddings New website.....

Out with the old pink site and in with a new super slick black and white theme. I think it’s cleaner, easier to read and easier to navigate. More importantly it’s a lot easier for me to maintain. I’ve replaced all the hard coded galleries with a new cool content management system. What that means is that I’ll be able to update the site a lot more often. This should mean that you get to see loads more pictures, news and information from me.

It also means that in the short term you may see a couple of “quirks” as I iron out the site. There are a lot of changes under the bonnet – and I’m much better at taking pictures than writing websites weddings New website.....

Please bear with me – and if you do see a link that doesn’t work then please drop me an email or leave me a comment below to let me know.

    The Flash on the Front page doesn’t work in Firefox in my office so I get a white hole in the middle of the page. I have just tested in in IE and I get the same (seems to be stuck loading…)

    I really like the site by the way. The search is very quick and works well and the video style slideshows are very good.

    I’m a little puzzled because you say the Flash on the front page doesn’t work but you like it elsewhere – is it just the front page that isn’t working for you?

    looks nice and easy to use, clean, good job overall chap and the flash movie looks nice, loads quick.. the only error I’ve come across is clicking the link to the gallery, you get an error 404 message at the top of the page but you still do get a list of other possible pages, so for an error, it works well lol..

    Anyway – the dodgy link is now fixed ;)
