Last Thursday I had a lovely little wedding at a brand new venue right in the heart of the Kent countryside. My clients have asked that no pictures of their wedding are posted on the internet and of course I’m happy to comply. But given how lovely and how new the venue was with their kind permission I couldn’t resist posting a couple of venue shots. So I just opened my folder called “pretty things” and found that Tor Spa is full of pretty things…
There’s the peeping Tom terracotta “warrior” hiding in the bushes….
…and the “rainbow bridge” (you do realise I’m making these names up….? It’s a new venue – maybe the names will stick)
Of course, since we’re in Kent and it’s late in the “season” it does pay to be prepared for the best of the English Summer.
And Kai from Tor Spa was on hand to make sure none of the important equipment got wet.
And you can’t have a proper wedding without confetti.
Even if it meant they had to clear it up…
There are many beautiful things at Tor Spa, but the thing I love most about the venue is that way it feels when you step through the door. There’s such a sense of peace and tranquility that you can’t help feeling relaxed there. But yes, there are some beautiful things to help the atmosphere.
Oh and in case you think I made the whole wedding up just to talk about Tor Spa….well, either this is a real registrar at a real wedding sitting in front of the wonderful pool or one of the Kent Registry Service has gone on holiday to the Caribbean in uniform….
